It is our pleasure to welcome you to our practice. Larry E. Shyers, Ph.D., and Associates, Inc. consists of four Licensed Mental Health Counselors (Larry E. Shyers, Ph.D.; John Roche, M.A.; Angela Dailey, M.A.; and Kim Smith, M.A.).

We at Larry E. Shyers, Ph.D., and Associates, Inc. are dedicated to the mental health of our clients. We believe in Christ-centered care that focuses on the relationship between the client and therapist. This site is designed to introduce you to our office and answer some questions you might have about our practice.

Psychotherapy differs from psychiatry in that we focus on non-pharmacologic methods to alleviate emotional and mental difficulties. Along with the psychotherapy, we are able to make referrals to qualified psychiatrists for treatment of emotional and mental disorders with prescriptive medications. We provide services for children, adolescents, and adults either as individuals or in groups. As Christian counselors, our primary desire is to provide the highest quality of mental health care to you and your family.
