Nils Swanson joined our practice after completing his Master of  Science degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University - Orlando Campus.  Nils also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biblical / Theological Studies and Youth Ministry from North Park University in Chicago, IL.  He has a long history of supporting individuals and families in a variety of life events.  He has been an Executive Director of a Non­­­-Profit organization in Florida, a Case Manager for Adults with Developmental Disabilities in the Chicago area, a Children’s director at a church in Sanford, FL as well as a Youth director in Minnesota. 

Nils has had specific training and experience working with people with developmental disabilities as well as grief and loss.  He completed his graduate student internship in a local hospice organization by counseling individuals and families.  Nils is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. 

Nils looks to partner with the people he counsels to help them live the life they desire.  He works with individuals, couples and families.

Outside of work Nils enjoys watching sports, building furniture, reading, and enjoying life.  He and his wife are active at their Church in the downtown Orlando area.
