Meet Tracy L. Moore

Professional Qualifications and Goals

Tracy has a passion for supporting people as they develop through the counseling process, championing the autonomy of the individual, the encouragement of the group, and the foundation of the family. She is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida with both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree.

Tracy is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida.

Her special areas of interest are working with family relational issues, children involved in the foster care system, and children and adolescents with developmental delays and disabilities.

Her professional experience has given her the opportunity to help children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, educational difficulties, depression, anxiety, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, and various developmental delays. Tracy understands that families who have a child with special needs it is important to work not only with the child but also with the parents and siblings. Parents often put their full energy into helping their child while ignoring or minimizing their own struggles. Without support and assistance the family unit may find itself collapsing under the weight of stress and conflict.

Tracy's desire is to intervene in the lives of these families in order to address grief and loss issues and communication skills while helping them learn how to adjust and cope. Through individual and family counseling many people find the help and hope they need.
