Evelyn Seabrook received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She became fascinated by the behavioral dynamics associated with sibling birth order. Further studies allowed her to receive her Master of Science degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Troy University.
Evelyn Seabrook has many favorite theories of study as a mental health counselor. She interrelates the recognition of individuals who unconditionally accept themselves, those who identify their basic needs as a means for achieving success, and those who cognitively believe in self efficacy, despite familial and/or environmental distractions.
Using a variety of cognitive therapies, Evelyn seeks to assist in decoding the individual’s distractions, assist the individual in gaining an understanding of themselves in that framework, and motivating the individual towards a successful outcome.
Evelyn Seabrook interned as an undergraduate student at BETA in Orlando, Florida, and at the Center for Drug Free Living’s outpatient facility, also located in Orlando, Florida. She has worked locally with an adolescent population, focusing on behavioral modification issues.
Evelyn Seabrook’s previous employment of many years has prepared her to work with individuals with disabilities. Her employment as well as her recent educational achievements allows her to be sensitive to the needs of the older American.
