Kate Lombardo graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She later went on to complete a Masters degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis on Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2016. 
Kate's professional career has been invested in working with a variety of individuals and issues. Most recently she has been working with individuals needing assistance in vocational rehabilitation. Through contact with family members who serve as firefighters, Kate has developed a passion for helping first responders impacted by workplace trauma. Kate is passionate about providing every person a safe space to share his or her pain. "I believe that every session with a client is a privilege and that this time with a client is sacred."
Kate is certified both as a trauma therapist and as an Accelerated Resolution Therapist (ART). She is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. She operates with the goal of bringing client problems into the light so that they can be dealt with, instead of allowing them to grow and manifest in the dark. "This is how God works, and He is the ultimate counselor and healer."
Kate is married and has two children, ages 2 and 5. She stays busy as a stay at home mom and values God and family above all.
