Lunie Coleus graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She then completed her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a concentration in Crisis and Trauma Counseling.
Lunie is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who offers specialized treatment for children, individuals, and families who suffer from traumatic life events and relationships. Lunie meets her clients where they are and in ways that best utilizes their strengths through Person-Centered; Cognitive Behavioral; and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral therapies. Lunie is also trained in Play Therapy.
"I believe that our mental health needs attention and empathy. I believe that individuals should not be afraid to speak about what they feel regarding what they have experienced or what they are currently going through. I believe in being compassionate with my clients as we walk through what they may be experiencing (I Corinthians 16:14). I believe in creating a space where people can feel safe enough to share their experiences."
